A brand built on family

SALTY MAMINA is built on a family recipe. A recipe I’ve cherished since I was a young girl. I watched Mom reach for her little jar of garlic salt as she cooked. She sprinkled her homemade garlic salt on everything—from pasta, to pizza, to sauces and stews. Her food was delicious—and legendary. How did she do it and make it look so easy? Mom had a secret—it was her homemade garlic salt that she used to season her food.

Neighbors, friends, and family all wanted a seat at her table. Mom always shared her table, recipes, and garlic salt. And now I’m sharing her garlic salt with you so you can see how easy it is to make your food taste delicious—even on the busiest of days.

Me and Mom

My admiration for Mom is with me every day. I started SALTY MAMINA in honor of Mom and my Italian family heritage. Mom wasn’t just an amazing cook; she was good and kind. She put people first and she instilled that in me from a young age. Not by what she said, but by how she lived and treated people.

As I build SALTY MAMINA, I’m empowered by the life principles I learned from Mom. SALTY MAMINA is my thank you to family, tradition and most of all to Mom. It is with love that I make every batch of my fresh garlic salt using fresh garlic and the best ingredients. When you taste my garlic salt, I hope you taste the love and tradition in every sprinkle—just like I do.

Mom made cooking delicious food seem easy. She wasn’t a fancy cook, but she made simply delicious food. I soon realized Mom had a secret—it was her special garlic salt that she reached for by the side of the stove. She used her garlic salt every day to season her food.
