Preparing the Bird (day before)
  1. Prep turkey (remove giblets, rinse, dry).
  2. Mix butter, garlic salt, lemon juice.
  3. Brush butter mix over entire turkey.
  4. Place lemon and herbs inside turkey.
  5. Cover turkey with foil.
Brine Turkey Overnight
  1. Refrigerate turkey overnight.
Cook the Bird
  1. Remove foil. Roast at 350 degrees until done.
  2. Temp and time depend on bird's size and oven.
  3. Use a meat thermometer to ensure doneness.
  4. Half-way through cooking, cover with clean foil and continue to cook.
